Marvel Magnum planet Castor has been captured by shaphan, Stronghold.

I had the understanding that we weren't attacking active players at this time. Did that change? I am okay either way. Just need to be on the same page.

I am curious to see how others respond.

I am currently not attacking any highly defended worlds owned by active players. If someone annoys me too much, that could change.

I consider production planets fair game, but I try not to take things from folks just beginning to build or rebuild their empire, since I don't want to drive away new or returning players.

production planet marvel. I think most people agree they are fair game. I think no-one is attacking full hws right now, but its not a hard and fast rule.

Understood. Production is fair game. HWs not. Now what do people consider a HW?

1. A planet with shields up?
2. A planet with considerable defence?

If I haven't collected for a long time, I could have stupidly high resouces on a planet. So there needs to be some indication that it is a HW, no ? I would think that a HW is a planet where you have shields up and vice versa coz, obviously production and shields are contrary to each other.

I would probably call the line at 20m+ because that would mean you need to crash 10 assaults in order to destroy that planet.
But its an honour system, and someone with 1 hw with 10m def would be safe from the majority of established players and im sure ROS or fortran could lose a 120m hw and not worry too much, though it would paint you as a target for them, so gl
If you don't collect for a long time, you can expect to lose production planets a few months ago, a planet could be safe for 6-7 months.

20m sounds like a good threshold to me, although there are probably a number of players that may not agree with any kind of limit.

If one does not have enough T+E to build a 20M homeworld, one may either join a clan that provides banking services or ask someone nice like me to hold those resources until there are enough to build that planet.
