Having fun building spreadsheet tools though. "Find nearest assault" is in a state I'm happy with now as being properly functional. If only I had enough of them properly distributed around the galaxy...

Next up: nearby chain detector so I don't get chained to death

Also Zero, can you clear up the state of some mechanics for me that I've either forgotten and am having trouble digging up or don't work the way I remember them?

What's the distance on nearby range? I think it's +-1000 on each axis forming a cube
What are the current mechanics on interest? There seems to be a cap above which interest no longer accumulates instead of going to 16777215 like it used to, I tried leaving a planet with 16.6M resources on it and it didn't change over the course of 24 hours?

Anyways, my personal policy for now is going to be:

Not attacking players with only 1 planet (excluding people who never actually played)

Not attacking planets of active players with > 2M Defense

That being said, I've seen some *very* juicy targets that don't meet the 2M defense criteria from active players. If you have planets with large amounts of resources but little defense... consider upping the defense by a little bit? ;)

I was gonna give you 48 hours or so to buff it up after posting that before I came and knocked it down. To be honest it's still a super tempting target, but since I didn't list a 'you're a clown with 30 mil non-defensive on a planet with just over 2m defense' exception I'm gonna stick to what I said for the time being lol
