It appears my network box was installed plugged into my neighbor's power outlet, and their power is out. I have relocated it to another neighbor's outlet.

In other news, SkyLords will be offline from 30 June - 1 July - maybe a bit longer, as I move apartments. I plan to end the June round early, on the 29th at midnight.

I will also need to take SL down for a few hours some time in the next few weeks to migrate to new hardware - shouldn't be as long as today though :/. Sorry about the downtime.

New server hardware is live now, running on an A4 with an SSD (since the load is mostly I/O bound, there might be some minor performance improvements, though generally the load is small enough right now that it shouldn't make any noticeable difference ).

I've been off line too, but for different reasons.
Seems an old injury to the knee was not fixed right. It has been infected for some forty years or so it turns out.
After two weeks of waiting for the wound to heal after being lanced I ended up in surgery. The problem was a lot deeper then the G.P. thought. Thankfully the bacteria that had been living there was not something exotic.

Updating round end to the 28th/29th at midnight server time instead of the 29th/30th, as the city I live in refuses to transfer the power on a Friday - the good news is, I should be able to bring it up relatively easily in the new place, since I'll have both internet and power there on the 1st.
