Hey Zero! You know, the usual. Got hit over the head with college, wondered how skylords was doing, discreetly came to check only to have a minefield of SPCs surrounding my only planet (how did that happen btw). So naturally I tried clearing them but there's still more to go...when I should be working.

Skylords looks deadish? I see newbies are entering the arena but there isn't much activity. Are servers still going down or anything I should know about?

Hey Dire Wolf. Yeah Nim created a successful recruitment thread for skylords on Reddit and we have been bombarded with tons of new players every day since like April I believe. That has thrown tons of SPC's into the real arena so clearing nearby's is quite the endeavor if you haven't kept up with it. I don't think any of the noobs have actually stuck around to finish the missions. Some reports of poor UI and confusing missions seems to have steered them all away. Hoping Iiri will allow us to help him work on that to make the game more appealing.

Yeah I was reading about that in some of the threads. I'm assuming the missions have been changed since I joined because I don't remember probing at all.

Has anyone ever thought about making a mobile app for skylords? Something like facebook messenger where it notifies you of anything significant. It probably wouldn't be much help with making the newbies stick around but it might help the vets.

I've considered it but I know nothing about app development so it was always just a dream lol. But yeah this month has actually been the most active month I've seen since my return in January. there have been a lot of old vets showing up in the news, as well as a couple new players who seem to have given the game a serious chance.

Never too late to learn Reaper. I might ask my friends if they know anything about it. I know a few software people...maybe even try to get them to try the game. It all depends on activity though, and if you guys are saying that this is the most active month so far, then Skylords must have been in a sad state before.
