Ok so I know Iiri is currently busy with the server move and all but after things get settled in I think it would be the perfect time for considering new features for the game. There has been a lot of good talk about possible new fuctions of ships and what not but I'd like to re-hash an old idea that was kinda forgotten about:

I think there should be a new building; a kind of recycling building that could be built. Say maybe if you wanted to get rid of a few old ships you have no use for but you don't want to loose all the resources you have tied up in the ships. Of course there should be limitations to what could be recycled, maybe you only get the iron and si back out of a recycled ship but you have to loose the energy and gold.

Just brainstorming.

as long as your brainstorming why not add 2 new planetary objects such as gas giants and asteriods.

one produces vast amounts of E U and H while the other produces I G and S and create a whole new class of ship a recycler to mine them. Saw this on another game before and it really added to the game in a big way with everyone fighting to control asteroids.

we once had SL2 to try out all these ideas in before putting them into play here, if anything we should bring that back.
