The last I heard about those was that the SPC HWs that were former player planets were supposed to be captured by Aliens, thus getting rid of the turrets and making it worthwhile to attack them from a points standpoint. Of course, it has been a long time since that was posted as the plan...

would be an awesome way to get rid of some of those 100k assaults I have from back in the days...
