I took spanish in high school, didn't practice it at all my first year of college then the next thing I know I'm on a research project spending the summer in Costa Rica and having a rude language awakening lol

It's ok it came back pretty quickly because I never forgot the swear words so I skated by for a couple weeks with just enough to get me by in very basic conversation and get me into a lot of trouble lol.

Besides this local teenage kid that was my little helper was eager to learn how to swear in English

I prefer to think of it as acting as a english teacher to bridge our cultural differences Kid was like 17 so I'm sure he was corrupted long before I got there. He thought I was out of my mind anyway after he saw what we needed him to giude us around for.
