So, I've been somewhat busy with Skylords (the name for the new server), and haven't yet posted a comment in the forums for some time now. I'm setting up a new machine running a Phenom with 4 gb of ram, but am struggling at this time with fastcgi and mod_suexec issues. If a qualified sysadmin would like to help me set it up (it's running Archlinux, btw), I'd never say no! . Wish us luck, and I hope to have it ported sometime in the next week - more transparently than the recent downtime we've had (I rebooted the current Skylords server and it didn't like it, after tripping over the switch that everything runs off of. With the new smaller case, even that might happen to me less often ).

I think about Skylords often, though progress has been slow of late.

If you would like someone else to take a look at the server, I would be glad to see if I could help. I have set up some linux servers in the past, in fact I just configured an Oracle server last week... If you wanted to send me some info on the troubles, I could see what solutions I could come up with.

i bilt it to run a privet world of warcaft server but then was forsted to stop so now it sits idle i sent professor an email about letting him use it the other day then Irri posted this and thats a nice prossesor your using maby it will be able to hadle adding another "realm"/universe so people who would like to have a reset would be able to and also everyone would be able to play on each so you would have more to do part of this same idea would be stager the rounds so people are active more

Server went down, but it's back up again, any downtime should be fixed rather quick, as soon as iiri gets the time. Quick being less than 24 hours.

Yes, as soon as I get back to the computer at home at the latest... You know I'm a computer junkie @_@.
