I cannot destroy ships, either. After the other ship should have been destroyed, I received a message that my ship had been destroyed. However, it is working just fine and happily exploring the galaxy. The "enemy" ship is still where I found it, too.

FORTRANshadow: I am very sorry for that. I reversed a test, and didn't notice. It ought to be fixed for good now.
