i think this reset is more to simply fix the fact that right now the long term players are unstoppable superpowers and anyone who joins the game will be dead when immunity ends and quit

and the large players are too scared to attack each other as well

I still think the final mission of the newbie arena should be "join a clan now if you don't want to die". There could be recommendations for whatever training clans exist.

FORTRAN, I understand, but as far as the short-term goes, some people have 20 HWs and everyone's indestructible now with anything over 100M defense.

Everyone's defensive, and nobody's offensive.
You have players with nothing, players with everything.

Another alternative is to give everybody 1 maxed HW and 25 planets, commy style.
