Yes, quoting Matthew 10:16 is good as a reference, but that does not mean that I understand the logic of why we should want to be like Doves and mess up all the statues nor is it clear to me that snakes are all that wise. I am sure that it appeared to be a very helpful analogy a few thousand years ago, but the logic just does not play as well for me today. Don't mean to be too much of a skeptic, but just because something is in the Bible does not mean that I understand it nor that I undertstand how it might apply in a modern context.

That's why people talk about the bible and other religious books. They hope to understand what it says and how it's ment. Logics are not the most important part of understanding. The old question about killing an innocent child and in return you get the cure for, let's say, cancer. It would be logical to kill the child to safe thousands... but would you?

Doves arent on the verge of extinction(unlike numerous other animals), infact they are multiping with human habitation.(except for the Mauritian one but I can sweep that under the carpet)

I would try my best to do it if the child said that is what they wanted, to save lives otherwise I wouldnt because that would be murder.

amoral thinking and logics lay pretty close... People are not build for logical thinking because we assume too much... If you see a plane in the sky you always think it's just really far away and up close it's huge... But is it? Maybe it's just a frigging tiny plane
