..l. the entire network node that the game server was on went down for a few hours earlier today. Not sure why, but it affected hundreds of servers and was fixed in a few hours. Sorry about any inconvenience caused by this problem.

I just got a message from our network administrator regarding the reason for the down time:

> There is an earthquake in Taiwan last night. Many optical lines in pacific ocean were broken. So almost all
> Internet connation and telecom service between the US and HK are down.

So, it was not the local network, but cables which go through Taiwan which were affected. This not only affected access from the USA, but also from Europe, since many of the circuits from HK to Europe also were routed through Taiwan and were affected by this earthquake problem.

Might be a good reason to consider a move back to a US based server again. Hopefully, a better one than I used last time. I am considering a server that costs about $80 per month, which would be really fast. Expensive, but fast.

lmao mine is mega fast for sum reason..its normally average but im luving this burst of speed for me

I think the slow are fast now and the fast are slow... i've become really slow though i'm usually very fast. maybe its because i've changed some things in firefox to make it faster before. hmmm let me go undo some changes.
