Actually, interiority It WAS a war of good versus evil, at least iaccording to american politics:

That was how our president got us all riled up to go fight it. American propaganda for the war at that time was largely "Defeat the Hun" type stuff with a brave American soldier standing above a dead Austrian soldier with a woman and child saying "thank you"..... stupid, yes, but effective.

Our president (Wilson... I think) was a peace loving guy, as was the rest of America. He had to create a strong belief that what the Austrians were doing was wrong, so he basically created a crusade against the immoral "hun." ..... ..... Yay AP US History Class. Yay AP US Gov and POlitics Class.
