Glad Iiri's found his path in life, hope he returns so we can find out exactly why bad things happen to good (and indeed innocent) people. This is the one stumbling block I have with the whole Christian faith.

If I started listing the reasons I should not believe in God, I don't think I could stop.
If I started listing reasons why I believe in God, I know I could not stop.
As I was told any one can be a skeptic, it requires not great knowledge, any fool can do it.
But to believe takes faith, and no fool has that.
Do not take this as an affermation on any one faith.
I am not a mormon, nor could I ever be.
God gives us a choice, I can live with mine.

Why can't fools have faith? Having faith does not require great knowledge either.

In my opinion, only fools believe without asking questions. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean that believers are fools, only that one should always questions one's own beliefs, because others certainly will.

thats y i am agnostic... i am not a satanist or watever and i do believe there is a higher power.. i just dont quite think that all the things preachers say is right... i like to question faith instead of blindly following it

As for why bad things happen to good people; I think its a matter of semantics.
Perhaps there is no "good and bad", perhaps its only the ego's perception of things.
