i think....most of the hydrogen in th undiverse is came upon by when players colonize greens and capture sp and noobs planets who never play.. so my theory is we dont need a building if prof would have never messed with the hydrogen production and put it back at 5 every 15 minutes.. therfor... if u have 1m on a planet u can go down alot slower... caus hydrogen is probally more valuable now than was intended

Maybe it would be better to utlize a different resouse then H2 for something.
I don't use all the U238 that I produce.
Maybe where H2 is used, u238 could be used to replace it, to balance consumtion/production. With out a need for a new building.

Some non-deffensive resources are growing much faster in the universe than they are used now. It is not good.

I'd like to have a building that let you choose what you want to use to produce what. Or to produce energy only, as i believe it is logical to get energy from any resource we have (even from T, let's burn them! ). If we see we have too much uranium in the universe we can set the building to produce E using uranium.

Such building could lead to a resource balance that we should prefer. Otherwise we'll get more and more resources of some type that we'll never use. Players sold huge amounts of resources for a minimum price when it was introduced to get rid of unnecessarry silicon. We don't have minimum price anymore and dropping resources to space is not attractive at all. We can't use all the uranium for flights and turrets, i believe there might be billions of unnecessary uranium at the moment. Or will be soon as people build.

Minimum price would give too many credits to the game, changes with the purpose to use unnecessary resources would probably be endless. Such building might slowly bring a balance.

Also such building would affect market prices - i guess price and production differentiation should become much lower.

A building which uses uranium to make hydrogen might be reasonable.

Or, a building which uses U238 to make energy instead.

The transmutation building idea is not a bad one, but it would be hard to code if it was a flexible building which could turn anything into anything, and it would mean a lot of new buildings if there were buildings for every form of transmutation possible.

However, it is likely that more players would prioritize an "off" button or "demolish" option over adding a new building in terms of their preferences. Even so, it would be easier to add a new building or two than it would be to add an off button.

Or at least make hydrogen not +1440 but +50 (or what was it) again, so buildings would eat less of it
