the difference between emo and goth is that goth is a style.. goths like to dress in dark colors and where dark makeup as a sort of fashion statement... they are somtimes depressed and all too but i kno alot of goths that r perfectly fine.. emo on the other hand is when someone is mentally fd up .... a person becomes emo when they start to have suicidal thoughts and they resort to cutting and other self torcher tactics to release pain... people usually think that that is wat goths are bcuz they kno goth who do that.. but seeing as being gothic is just about the fashing or style they are just a certain person that is majorly depressed.. saying all goths are emos is just steriotyping...

i've thought of committing suicide; I've thought of what it would be like to cut myself (on purpose: Carving since I was about ten has formed a good impression of what a cut feels like, I'm talking about the mental relief that one supposedly feels).
I've even gotten as far as typing a suicide note before.

Problem with being intelligent... I talked myself out of it... "You have way too much pride to give up and die."

i use to b depressed too.. only thing that kept me from actually killin myself was one thought i think about all the time... wat if wat ur feeling right now was duplicated over and over with no prevail in the afterlife if ur commited suicide.. i sure as hell knew i didnt wanna have to keep goin through that same thing over and over.. i knew that eventually (even if it was 200 yrs) the problems would stop and things would b ok... and id rather endure the pain for 200 yrs then for eternity... just my thoughts tho.. idk how others vary

For any of you guys out there who wann commit suicide, and aren't completely sure about wether there is an afterlife or not...

That book has the most detailed description of Hell that you could ever hope to find... Unless you are totaly sure that that ain't where you're going, you probably won't want to commit suicide anymore.

Basically, if you are thinking on suicide, you need another outlook on life.

Once you get one, you'll feel silly about thinking about the act of suicide in the first place.
Think about it...if you have an enjoyable outlook, then suicide becomes irrelivent, don't you think?
