Interest is not complicated. 2% on resources up to 1 million, and no additional interest income for resources over 1 million. With 1 million T, you get 20k interest. With 10 million T, you get 20k interest. Pretty simple. 2% up to a million, and cap on interest at that point, so no extra.

There is a formula which was used in calculating interest on resources which includes a divide sign, and no maximum, but as ABE pointed out in that topic, it is essentially simply a cap on maximum interest that can be earned on any resources stored on a planet.

Yea i understand it but try and compare it to 1% in working out how much intrest you are getting a day , Current formula requires much more maths in that respect
