Perhaps a different view on the idea, each clan has a HW that they all know the coords of which they have to defend each round rather than take out. Kinda like a giant King of the Hill with multiple hills. Taking a Clan HW gives you like 150% of normal points.

to expand on dios's idea: make clan property which can be used by only those members of the clan that have been designated by the clan leader. so have clan planets, ships etc. Then when a clan planet is taken or clan ship is destroyed the attacker get, like dios said 150% points although 200% might be better.

We already have a king of the hill planet ;P. Nobody seems interested in taking it atm though ;P.

There are several reasons for that ;)

But these planets would be more attractive because of:

a) The resources
b) Hitting enemy clans rather than Professor
c) The extra points you would get from such an attack

that and the fact king of the hill is basically one of the hardest targets to hit. also the fact that it is extremely hard to pull off a successful attack when everyone knows the coordinates and is just itching to pirate ur assaults.

it's obvious that if any major clans would have such planets they will be max defence and coords will be known by many players, so it will be harder to take than professors, as professor himself is not very good defender.
So everyone who wants king of the hill planets, try to take professors planet first and then ask for harder targets... :) And about more points for attacking such planets, we can make an experiment - give more points for attacking a planet at 0:0:0

let me just check something. the clan targets are only known to the clans?
