Thank you Deemers for bringing the bug to my attention, and thank you to the players that fell victim to the bug. I have discussed the matter with Prof, and as it seems to have been an honest oversight on the part of most of the players I discussed it with (RKC, please tell me next time you find a bug ;P), I'll simply repair the damage my oversight caused. Sorry for the trouble.

I understand what caused the bug now. Iriidayn has fixed the bug, and restored the fighters to their proper defense. It appears to have resulted from an error in the fighter attacking turrets code, which appear to have made fighters get more defense if they survived a turret attack (no wonder some people wished I had more turrets to attack).

Since the turret attack code was not working correctly before, and fighters may have been killing turrets when they should have, please PM me or Iiirdayn if you have lost turrets in an attack by fighters since the start of this round and we will restore them to you. The 18 turrets on my planet "My Big Target" have also been restored, and the planet is ready to be attacked by fighters again. If you do attack it, I would appreciate knowing what the ships had for experience before the attack and how many ships trained and untrained it took to defeat them.

The information should be posted on forums so others can know as well. I want to be sure turrets are working as expected.

Thanks. Okay, that makes sense. Untrained fighter should, on average, kill one turret about half of the time before dying.

professor, aren't fighters suposed to get experience when they kill a turret?, defense/attack increased but the experience is still the same

I think Berserkas lost not only turrets but also his Hw because of that - will you restore it?
