Well, potentially, I-Flight over longer distances will require more fuel for moving to avoid collisions or for other purposes (e.g., the uranium makes oxygen and power to keep ship crew alive during flight). Also, I don't feel like changing I-Flight be have resources be independent of distance. Jumping is independent of distance, but I-Flight takes resources to get somewhere.
