Planets will collect resources. If you hit the maximum of 50k energy, 150k troops. or 1 million of other resources, then you will not havest more of the resource you hit the limit on.

While server is down, new SP Confed planets will be added to the game as well. So, we will have new planets to capture soon, and I will be adding a new feature to drop planets automatically once per hour somewhere at random in the SL universe starting very soon.

Don't know yet. I will try to acheive a steady number of planets. The more that are obliterated, the more that will need to be dropped, but the link will not be automatic, so I will have to manually adjust number up or down to try to achieve steady state.
