Update on ideas regarding warp:

1. Fixed time period, probably every 30 minutes, then moves to new sun.
2. You will not find anything most of the time, since 90% of suns have no planets (obliteration)
3. Risk of loss is modest, at 20%, but enough that you will send most assaults outside warp.
4. Something will be done with probes. They will not stay as cheap discardable ships.
5. Buildings will not happen until November at soonest, and will be simple in nature.
6. There is a high chance of warp being used by more than one player. Thus, it is likely that time will matter. Some players will use warp for assaults. Some will use ultra fast deep-space hyperdrive drive to move to location, at risk of loss of ship. Risk of loss of 20% is enough to trouble many players, but not enough to stop some players. Strategy might be to take planets fast, check nearby, and then obliterate them so that no one else knows they are or even were there.

Glad to hear you'll do something about probes, because they only cost 100 iron, right... If they wouldn't have "enter warp" feature that would solve it I think?

Or change sun only once an hour... this way ppl start to fight over planets again :D:D:D (and when the warp has gone over the sun, the planets cannot be oblitted anymore!!!;)
