ok my computer is making a smell that has made me light headed and the fan keeps turning on and off so anyone know whats wrong?

Sounds like a problem with a S.P.L.I.F.F. joint is interrupting the fan. Remove your side casing, a telltale indication is white, grey ash deposits on inner flor of the casing just below the fan housing below the power supply. Can you see anything like this?

i would not run it any more do what they say if it is fan replace it also clean it with can of compressed air the smell is probbly the wires melting
