Does anyone know the scanning range of the probe?

dunno, i was only able to find my own planets, no matter how far i am from them :)

Is that in every direction?

it scans a cube with 200X200x200

To find another planet, you have to probe intensively, and structural.

I think my probe-range is 150 btw.

I have yet to find any other planets. I have only sent out a few(I tend to send it out as far as it's fuel will go)

Its 100x100x100 and thats all ! ;]

It would be cool to have a bigger map to plot where to send your probes *hint* *hint* - cause i have no idea where i keep sending mine :*(

It IS 200x200x200 cube because NOT upgraded probes scan 100 in very driection. Upgraded ones can scan 125, 150, and 175 with both upgrades, so 350x350x350 cube! C'mon guys, you have to know this things already...
