it depends on the hieght of the building. cuase gravity pulls it down at a constant 9.8 newtons(i think thats the unit) so depending on the hieght u get N(newton) x H(hieght) and u get your velocity. i dunno what velocity u need to puncture i skull though

but there is a terminal velocity because of air resistence
so it acctually depends on the type of object droped, but a penny if a penny dropped from of the empire state building hit you in the head.... you would probobly be dead or if not dead then in very critical condition


Oh and Nick ur unit is wrong newtons is force not acceleration it actually is: 9.81 m/s^2

ok, thx for the correction creim. i though newtons was the same, but whatever. and the only thing the size difrence woud change is that u would have to subtract air/wind resistence.
